Chandigarh, January 11: Under Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Scheduled Caste students Rs. 110.83 crore has been released for the year 2022-23.
Giving information in this regard, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur said that under the post matric scholarship scheme for Scheduled Caste students, during the year 2022-23, it has been issued as part of the budget provision of the state.
She said that applications of 102012 students have been received till 6 November 2022 on the Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship portal. Due to this, approval has been given to release an amount of Rs 110.83 crore as the state share.
She order to carry out the work related to the post matric scholarship scheme for the SC students on time, the officials of the department were instructed not to allow any delay in it.
