Sandhwan appeals for support to end corruption in Punjab

Chandigarh, January 11: Appreciating the decision taken by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to end the scourge of corruption, Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan said his party had promised to give a clean and corruption-free administration to the people while coming to power and the Punjab government is fully committed and firm in this regard.

Regarding the decision taken by the Chief Minister about the strike by the government officers, S. Sandhwan said that eliminating corruption from the state is the responsibility of the state government and all the officials and employees of the Punjab government should support the government in this regard.

He said that the people of the state are suffering a lot from corruption and the all of us should support the government to get them out of its grip. S. Sandhwan said that every official should play his role in it.

He said that some people involved in corrupt activities defame all the people. Because of this, it is our responsibility to expose the corrupt people and build a clean society.

S. Sandhwan has appealed to all sections of the people, including officials and employees, to strengthen the hands of the Chief Minister to end the scourge of corruption.
