Ludhiana, October 17: Unidentified motorcycle borne persons shot dead RSS leader in Gagandeep Colony of Basti Jodhewal area Tuesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Ravinder Kumar. He died on the spot.
Preliminary account and CCTV footage of the street where the leader was shot, points to two assailants riding a motorcycle opening indiscriminate firing on the RSS leader while he was returning home after attending daily Shakha.
Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, RN Dhoke reached the spot and ordered the cordoning off the area. A massive manhunt has been launched to arrest the accused.
