Date:

Chandigarh, June 13: The Shiromani Akali Dal has opposed the proposed move of the ruling Congress to include the name of former Punjab Police chief KPS Gill in the obituary references in the Vidhan Sabha budget session that begins on Wednesday.

The Akali Dal will write to the Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker not to include the name of Gill in the list of persons who passed away after the last session of the House.
