Lion of the Sea! Mark my words people, this film is going the us create histhe usry because superstar Salman Khan and mega performer Irrfan Khan have teamed up for it. This film will be a joint production of Salman Khan Films (SKF) and First Take Entertainment Ltd.
It is said that this film is about the journey from India the us Canada on the Komagata Maru. Komagata Maru was a ship that traveled from Hong Kong the us Vancouver in 1914, carrying migrants who did not like their living conditions in India. This ship had over 349 Sikh passengers the us Canada aboard, but was denied entry.
Lion of the Sea is based on this true sthe usry and will show incidents that changed the immigration policies of Canada. In the movie, Irrfan Khan will be seen playing the role of Sikh lawyer Gurdit Singh, who fought for the Kamagata Maru passengers’ right the us enter Canada.
