SBS Nagar Police cracks Banga Blind Murder Case in a week

Cracking the Banga blind murder case in a week, SBS Nagar police, on Thursday, arrested three accused including sister of the victim and recovered Rs 45,000 ransom money from them.

Giving this information during a press conference at SBS Nagar, SSP Mr. Sandeep Kumar said that the case FIR No. 51/2022 U/s 302 IPC & 25 Arms Act was registered at P.S. Sadar Banga for murder of Amarjit Singh resident of Salh Kalan (Banga), who was shot dead by two unknown bike borne persons on May 25, 2022.

During the investigation of the case, he said that it is revealed that accused Mandeep Kaur, sister of the victim, planned the murder of Amarjit Singh with her friend Gurwinder Kaur resident of Charan (SBS Nagar), who is co-conspirator in this case. Gurwinder Kaur further contacted with Lakhbir Kumar resident of Mehmudpur Gadrian. Lakhbir Kumar fixed a deal in sum of Rs. 75,000/- with accused Sarabjit Singh resident of Charan to kill Amarjit Singh. Thereafter, Sarabjit Singh along with his unknown friend shot dead Amarjit Singh on 25.05.2022.

In this case accused Mandeep Kaur, Gurwinder Kaur and Lakhbir Singh have been arrested and ransom money of Rs. 45,000/- has also been recovered from them. Accused Sarabjit Singh and his associate accused are still at large and raids are being conducted to nab them, the SSP SBS Nagar added.
