Chandigarh, September 6: Punjab Minister for Sports Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi Friday called on Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal at Delhi.
Among the issues discussed were start of special trains for the convenience of pilgrims during upcoming 550th birthday celebrations of Guru Nanak Dev in November.
Sodhi also requested for funds for the renovation and modernisation of Guru Harsahai and Ferozepur Cantt railway stations, and the under railway bridge at Guru Harsahai so as to provide an easy and comfortable access to pilgrims.
