Chandigarh, August 21
Taking suo moto notice of the case of an elderly woman in Sri Mukatsar Sahib District , the Punjab State Women Commission has summoned both sons and both daughters of the victim along with caretaker on August 24, 2020 for a personal hearing.
Chairperson of Punjab State Women Commission Mrs. Manisha Gulati said that the matter had come to her notice through media reports.
In her orders, she also directed the investigating officer of the matter to be present on hearing.
