The Punjabi biopic Subedar Joginder Singh is based on the life of Param Vir Chakra (PVC) awardee Subedar Joginder Singh, who died fighting the Chinese at Bum La in Tawang during the Sino-Indian war in 1962. It will present the story of his valour and bravery. Popular Punjabi singer-actor Gippy Grewal plays the titular role of Subedar Joginder Singh.
