17th November 2021: The plot of the drama series ‘Tere Dil Vich Rehen De’ Shows how an NRI grand-daughter, Sam lands in Punjab to reunite her mother(Gurleen) and grandmother(Kamaljit Kaur). Sam is a smart and confident girl deeply rooted with Indian Values. Though she was born and brought up in Canada, she is deeply rooted with Indian values and is ‘Punjabi Kudi’ at heart. Her love for friends and family helps her decide to go to Punjab and reunite her ailing mother and maternal grandmother who has come to Punjab to strengthen the relationship between her ailing mother and her grandmother and revive their relationship as before.
Talking about her mother, Gurleen, she appears to be a sensitive and yet determined woman. We can judge this by her brave move to fall in love with a foreigner and marry him without bothering about her family. She raised her daughter with the values to respect your family in all circumstances. Even if she left her family, she has led a beautiful life with her partner. Therefore, the mother sets an example that choosing your own life partner does not mean that you don’t have moral standards.
On the other hand, the grandmother, Kamaljit Kaur aka Biji, lives in a conservative family with a personality who is all determined to her family’s goodwill and the culture they have been brought up with. But also she is a woman who cannot bear and forgive anyone for betraying. She disowns her own daughter and considers her to be dead for the rest of her life because according to her cultural values, it was wrong to love a man of your own choice.
The show is duly related to the bonds we share with our loved ones. The show is set to air on 22nd November 2021, Monday to Friday at 6:00 pm only on Zee Punjabi.
