Time to act, talking won’t do any good, Phoolka to Navjot Sidhu

Date:

Chandigarh, May 17: Reacting sharply on the statement of cabinet minister, Navjot Singh Sidhu that Akalis have looted the state and fund worth 400 crores sent by central government were diverted for Badal family’s personal gains, AAP asked Sidhu to act in the matter rather than just talking.
In a press statement, AAP senior leader and Leader of Opposition in Punjab Vidhan Sabha, H.S. Phoolka said it is well known that Badal family and their near and dears were involved in every corrupt activity in Punjab. He said that even after two months of  completion of Captain Amarinder Singh led Congress government, no inquiry has been initiated against the Badals.
He said Congress must fulfil its promise of putting behind the bars people responsible for corrupt practices in the past. He said government must set up a commission to look into the cases related to corruption of Akalis.
