Muktsar, December 29: The police today named 10 more SAD workers in the case registered against SAD’s Gidderbaha constituency incharge Hardeep Singh Dimpy Dhillon for allegedly threatening an SHO and vandalising the police station on Monday.
Those booked included SAD’s newly appointed Muktsar (urban) president Amit Bansal Shimpy and sarpanches Gurwinder Singh and Shaminder Singh. One of them has been arrested, while raids are on to nab others.
The case was registered after Dimpy and others held a protest outside the Kotbhai police station, demanding the release of party workers arrested in a land dispute. The video of Dimpy’s brother Sunny threatening the SHO has also gone viral on social media.
