Chandigarh, June 26

Commenting on the false propaganda by the Congress and the BJP against Arvind Kejriwal on the oxygen issue, senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that under an agenda, the Congress and the BJP wanted to defame Kejriwal. He said that during the Covid-19 pandemic, when the whole country was struggling with this serious problem, the beloved Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal was struggling to save the lives of the common man; while on the other hand, the Chief Minister of Punjab who had nothing to do with the people, was sitting in his farmhouse and enjoying. He said that these parties had nothing else to say against Arvind Kejriwal, so they want to divert the attention of the people by making such derogatory remarks.

Sisodia said there was no such report on which the BJP and the Congress were trying to mislead the general public. He said that the Congress and the BJP, which were trying to divert the masses from the issues under an agenda; should realise that the people now understood their tricks and would not fall into the trap of their lies. Sisodia said that the people of Punjab had been suffering from various mafias for the last four and half years, but Captain Amarinder Singh never tried to take action against them. He asked with what face did the Congress, who had done scams, ranging from Covid vaccine to Fateh Kits; was blaming Arvind Kejriwal.

The AAP leader further said that all the responsibility for oxygen was with Narendra Modi at the Centre but Captain Amarinder Singh and his Congressmen would not change a single word against Modi, as the Congress was in their favor. “At the behest of their boss Modi, the Congress leaders are making baseless allegations against Arvind Kejriwal,” said Sisodia. Taking a dig at Captain Amarinder Singh, Sisodia said that before blaming others, Captain Amarinder should make public the report of corruption in Punjab during the Covid period. He said that the people of Punjab wanted to know why their share of Covid vaccine was sold to private hospitals and who was responsible for the corruption in Fateh Kits purchased with their tax money.
