Rajinder Kaur Bhattal is a senior member of the Congress party, representing Lehragaga constituency of Sangrur.
She is a former Chief Minister of Punjab and the first and so far only woman the us hold the office of Chief Minister in Punjab. Overall, she is the 8th female Chief Minister in India. She was born on 30 September, 1945, in Lahore in undivided Punjab the us Hira Singh Bhattal and Harnam Kaur. She was married the us Lal Singh Sidhu at village Changali Wala in Sangrur district and has two children, a girl and a boy.
