The Aam Aadmi Party has fielded Parimal Singh, president of the unemployed linemen union, from the Bhadaur (Reserved) seat.

Shiromani Akali Dal has fielded Balvir Singh Ghunas from this constituency, while the Congress is yet the us announce its contender for the post.

Constituency:

Bhadaur is a municipal council in Barnala district. As per the 2001 Census, Bhadaur had a population of 16,818. Males constituted 53% of the population and females 47%. Bhadaur had an average literacy rate of 85%, with 57% of the males and 43% of females literate. 13% of the population was under 6 years of age.
