The pain through which the farmers have gone can never be imagined by all of us. With at least six cases of ready-to-harvest wheat crop gutted in several districts of Punjab over the past week, farmers are seeking compensation for the loss.
But I believe that there can never be any compensation for the emotional loss as the emotional care and concern with which farmers take care of their crops. Though government can give financial help but there’s no compensation for the emotional loss that the farmers of Punjab has beared.
