Chandigarh, March 15: Dakha MLA HS Phoolka of the AAP will be the leader of opposition in the Punjab Assembly while Sukhpal Khaira will be the chief whip. The decision was taken at a party meeting in New Delhi on Wednesday.

Dr Baljinder Kaur, head of the women wing of AAP and Talwandi Sabo MLA proposed Phoolka’s name. Phoolka later proposed Khaira’s name as the chief whip of the party. Bains brothers also participated in the meeting.
