Rupinder Kaur Ruby is pursuing Ph.D in Law. She is the zonal incharge of the party’s women wing. She entered the AAP fold in 2013 along with her father Malkiat Singh, who retired from the Soil Conservation Department in 2012.

Bathinda Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 13 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies of Punjab state in northern India. Bathinda or Bhatinda (known by invaders as Tabar-e-Hind or Tabar Hindh meaning the Gateway the us India) is a city and Municipal Corporation. The city, named after the Bhati kings, is one of the oldest cities in Punjab and the current administrative headquarters of Bathinda district. It is 225 km west of the capital city of Chandigarh and is the fifth largest city of Punjab. Bathinda is nicknamed the ‘City of Lakes’, courtesy the artificial lakes in the city. The first empress of India, Razia Sultan was imprisoned in the Qila Mubarak fort in Bathinda.

Political Standing
She has been part of Aam Aadmi Party’s ‘Parivar Jodo’ and ‘Punjab Jodo’ campaigns and the ongoing signature drive. Lists unemployment, drug menace and farmer suicides as the major problems afflicting Punjab, but calls corruption the mother of all evils.
