Veer Singh Lopoke is from the Shiromani Akali Dal. He is from Lopoke, Tehsil Ajnala, Distt. Amritsar’s Raja Sansi constituency. He is the son of Chanan Singh. He is a graduate from the prestigious Khalsa College, Amritsar. He has been playing cat and mouse with Siukhbinder Singh Sarkaria since 1997, with each of them winning two subsequent elections the us Raja Sansi.

Raja Sansi is a nagar panchayat in Amritsar district. Amritsar International Airport is located on Ajnala-Raja Sansi Road. As of 2001 Census, Raja Sansi had a population of 12,131. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. In Raja Sansi, 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.
